Instructors - All Swim Venture instructors have received the highest level of American Red Cross CPR/First Aid training, are American Red Cross Lifeguard certified, have two years of Early Childhood Experience and 40 hours of Learn to Swim Training. We are committed to ensuring that you will receive the same instructor on a regular basis, but due to scheduling conflicts and any unforeseen issues we can not guarantee it.

Lesson Check-in – Parents are to check in prior to their swim lesson with a parent signature.

Parent Supervision – All parents are responsible for the supervision of their children. They must stay throughout the duration of the lesson.

Pool Use – There is no swimming before scheduled swim lessons. Swimmers may stay 10 minutes after their lesson for free swim only if space permits in the pool.

Pool Closure – We continuously strive to have the highest quality of pool water possible at all times. Due to this, we will close the pool until the pool water is at the highest quality level to ensure safety for all our families. In the case the pool must be closed at your registered time, you will be offered a make-up class at no fee or a credit.

Water Diapers – Swimmers who are three years old and under must wear a swim diaper. Disposable diapers must be covered with a plastic diaper that seals around the legs and waist.

Swim Caps, Goggles and Fins – All children with hair long enough to cover their eyes are required to wear swim caps. All students in levels 5 and 6 must wear goggles. Goggles are not recommended for swimmers in level 1 + 2. Fins are recommended for levels 2-4 and are required for level 5 and above.

Discipline Policy – Due to the nature of our lesson, we enforce a “3 Strikes Rule” to maintain order and discipline in our lessons. This “rule” is a system that our instructors are trained to follow should a child refuse to follow directions. The first time a child does not follow directions, (s)he will receive a warning. The second time this occurs, (s)he will be asked to take time out of the lesson. The third time this occurs, (s)he will be asked to leave the lesson for that day.

Separation Anxiety Policy – For students who struggle with separation anxiety, the student will be required to complete a limited number of non-threatening tasks before the lesson is over. Parents are asked to remain at a distance in order to allow the instructor to work through the separation anxiety with the child.

Make-up Lessons – Make-up lessons are reserved for Swim Venture currently enrolled students only.

Refunds/Cancellations – NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE LESSON START DATE. We only allow refunds anytime prior to your first class. (Any refunds are subject to a $15.00 transaction fee). Cancellations must be made 30 days in advance in writing by completing a cancellation form located at your facility or by emailing support@swimventure.com.

Returned Checks – All returned checks are subject to a $15.00 fee.

Make-up Lessons – You must notify the office 24 hours in advance if you are planning on missing a class. Make-up lessons are reserved only for currently enrolled students. Swim Venture does not guarantee them; they are dependent upon availability and they must be scheduled at the check-in area of your facility. They are available for a non-refundable, non-transferrable fee of $5.00 per lesson and per child which must be paid at the time of scheduling. A make-up lesson cannot be made up. If you miss the make-up lesson, you forfeit the $5.00 you paid to hold your place for the scheduled lesson. Make-up lessons must be during the current enrollment period.
